Dr. Samuel Yip received his PhD and MD degree from UBC.  He completed his neurology residency in 2007 at UBC, followed by a fellowship training in Stroke and Cerebrovascular Disease at UCSD.  He joined the VGH Stroke Program in 2008. His clinical and research interests are in quality assurance of stroke care, prehospital stroke system and emergency stroke system.  He serves as a member of the Canadian Stroke Best Practice Advisory Committee.  He is a member of the UBC Neurology Residency Training Committee.
